Transportation Engineer

The successful candidate will have mastered AutoCad and Micro-station, signal timing and operations.

The successful candidate will assist with a wide variety of ITS design, integration and signal timing projects, and support field work, design, technical analysis preparation of spread sheets, graphics and select report sections for various engineering and planning projects. Office locations include Austin and Houston, in Texas, and Lincoln, Nebraska.
Qualifications Required? BSCE, BSEE or equivalent degree
Minimum 7 years of experience in Transportation/ITS or related field
Engineer in Training, working towards an EIT, or other state certification
Experience in Signal Timing Operations/use of Synchro
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Desire to obtain a professional licensure in civil engineering
Qualifications Desired? MS degree in engineering or equivalent
PE, TE, or PTOE certification
Ability to analyze present data in draft sections of reports or presentations
Working knowledge with AutoCAD or MicroStation
Solid written and verbal communication/presentation skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
