Role DescriptionThis is an opportunity to have a direct and daily impact in an exciting energy technology startup.
You will work closely with the product development teams to guide designs to comply with safety and performance standards as defined by UL, IEEE, IEC, IBC, NFPA and others.
You will represent Form Energy with industry groups, safety committees, and codes panels to ensure positive outcomes which enable the rapid scale up of this critical technology.
You will be responsible for developing regulatory testing protocols which become part of our standard product qualification process and which ensure successful and timely delivery of product certifications.
As part of this process, it will be important to develop close relationships with Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories (NRTLs).
Leading up to product launch, you will be responsible for driving product certifications, including coordination with NRTLs, interpretation of testing results, and design reviews.
What You'll Do:
Develop and drive the product certification strategy for Form Energy s iron-air battery cell, module, and systemEvaluate product designs and provide input to align the design with regulatory standards at an early stage of developmentDefine product safety validation testing during the product development process, prior to certification activitiesRepresent Form on various industry groups, safety committees, standards and code development panels as neededCoordinate with appropriate authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs) to obtain interconnection approvals for system deployment as requiredMaintain written product requirements documents contain all required regulatory featuresWhat You'll Bring:
BS in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (or similar) required>3 years direct experience managing compliance for an energy storage, battery systems, or renewable energy product>5 years industry experience in a product development settingDirect experience in product development within an early stage environmentDeep familiarity with existing codes and standards and certification processes, especially in relation to energy storage systemsExperience engaging with or representing on safety and code committees#LI-AB1 #LI-OnsiteHumanity is a cornerstone of Form Energy s culture, and we make sure our compensation and benefits reflect that.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
