Role DescriptionThe Test Infrastructure team at Form Energy is seeking a Technical Project Lead.
This position will serve as an exciting opportunity to define and own the system-level architecture and implementation of Test Infrastructure in support of our Battery Modules across multiple office locations!As the Technical Project Lead (TPL) in charge of Battery Module Test Infrastructure, you will be accountable for delivering test hardware that meets the objectives of all design validation, reliability, performance and process validation for our Battery Modules.
You will be invested in developing and deploying novel, state-of-the-art test equipment, contributing towards the hardware and software development of our test capabilities, and supporting our operations team in keeping our tests online.

What you'll do:
Provide a single source of truth for infrastructure designs/builds and drive technical decisions within the program Serve as an escalation path and decision maker for contributors within their focus areasAdvocate and demonstrate a safety first approach to problem solvingCollaborate, implement and drive a development approach; design, build, test, and deliver (Project Cycle Process, go slow to go fast mentality) Contribute to the mechanical and electrical design of battery test stands including power distribution design, harnessing, safety and interlocks, and data collection.
Collaborate on the design/development of custom liquid-handling, electromechanical and electrical systems in support of test stand improvements and simplification.
Ensure requirements are provided and verified through the development processWhat you'll bring:
A BS (MS preferred) degree in Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent degree/experienceExperience leading technical work, coordinating resources and ensuring tasks are adequately prioritized and supported.
System-level approach and understanding of test systemsAbility to identify gaps and work with leadership to assess solutions and their impact to cross-functional activitiesExperience developing robust, automated test equipment in a medium- to high-volume environmentFamiliarity with an mCAD package (SolidWorks, NX)Familiarity with an eCAD package (AutoCAD Electrical, Solidworks Electrical)Basic understanding of test software with a focus on gauging effort and impactFamiliarity working with data acquisition systems (Keysight, National Instruments, etc.
