Job Overview:
We need a very consistent and reliable Delivery Driver
Loader/Unloader.
Your task will be to pickup our desserts
equipment around 4-5am on Sundays, then safely transport our goods to various market locations in the Bay Area by 8 am, ensuring everything is ready for the day's sales.
At 2 pm, your job will be to pick up all the supplies, tents, boxes, etc.
This is a role of trust and responsibility, so we're looking for someone dedicated, honest, and hard-working.
If things go smoothly this role can be yours for years to come.
As we are a startup, we will be expanding to additional markets on other days of the week.
If you are interested in more work that will become available to you if you so desire.
Key
Responsibilities:
Pick up our desserts
equipment between 4-5am in Berkeley.
Deliver desserts and equipment to various market locations in the Bay Area by 8 am.
Setup of market equipment may be required (tents, tables, etc.
) Retrieve all remaining goods and equipment around 2pm.
Ensure all equipment is accounted for before and after pickup
dropoff.
Maintain the condition of our equipment.
Requirements:
MUST have your own CARGO VAN.
NO mini vans or small vans.
Your van must be able to hold all of our equipment -- 4 coolers, 4 tents, 4 boxes, plus misc items such as weights, umbrellas, water stations, etc.
Each cooler is about 4.
5 ft x 2 ft x 2 ft and weighs 100
lbs when full, each tent is 5 ft x 1 ft x 1 ft and weighs 80lbs, each box is 3 ft x 2 ft x 2 ft.
We have 4 of each.
Clean driving record
valid driver's license.
Reliable and punctual -- we need you to begin the pickup at around 4am on Sundays.
Physically strong, able to lift up coolers that weigh up to 100 lbs, unassisted.
Previous experience in a physically demanding job, such as furniture moving, is a plus.
Familiar with the Bay Area and/or are able to utilize GPS.
Capable of working independently, with minimal supervision.
Good attention to detail.
