Reporting to the Rector, the Communications and Events Coordinator is responsible for marketing all programs and managing all events on the PLTS calendar during the academic year.
This role is responsible to assigned internal and external communications tasks for the seminary.
Representative Duties:
Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategy to enhance brand visibility, engage alumni and partners, and drive enrollment.
E Manage social media accounts, create engaging content, and monitor online presence across various platforms.
E Plan and execute events and activities, producing the program, arrangements for speakers, publicizing the event, managing registration, and coordinating auxiliary services and catering as necessary.
E Supervise student workers to produce weekly newsletter and help with events.
E Observe and track social media activity and identify trends in the social media environment.
E Coordinate with external vendors and sponsors for events and promotional activities.
E Monitor and update the seminary website to ensure data and information presented is up-to-date and easy to comprehend.
E Produce the PLTS Centering newsletter.
E Coordinate communication with various groups such as PLTS staff and faculty, students, Advisory Board, donors, and alumni.
E Curate short videos of events and interviews with students and other to post on social media and website.
E Coordinate the taking of graduate photos and display of class photos within the campus space.
E Perform other administrative duties as required to support the mission and function of the seminary.

Qualifications:
Any combination equivalent to:
a bachelor's degree and two years of experience in communication, social media, event coordination and/or marketing.
