JOB SUMMARY The Project Coordinator's position responsibilities include coordinating the scheduling of interpreting appointments.
The Coordinator provides information for contracted interpreters, monitors the assigned budget, and provides monthly reports.
The Coordinator is also responsible for working closely with clients and staff to discuss and assess individual needs, and provides interpreting and services to existing and new clients as needed.
It's extremely important to help our clients match with interpreters for various language services.
This position is responsible for scheduling and supporting onsite and virtual interpreting assignments for clients, spanning across multiple industries and verticals.
The Interpreter Coordinator will be responsible for assigning interpreters to client's requests based on client preferences using our program, interpreters' skills and availability while minimizing overall costs, maximizing efficiencies, and providing high quality services to our customers.
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with scheduling interpretation providers to meet the interpreting needs.
Ensure that communication access providers working as Independent Contractors are successfully integrated into the system.
Receive and review invoices from independent contractors.
Monitors service expenses and works within the assigned budget.
Develop regular reports as requested by the CEO.
Collaborates with clients and providers on interpreting services.
Follow up and check-in with clients and interpreters on a regular basis to ensure all the interpreter needs are met and all the appointments are fulfilled.
Communicate directly with clients; create job requests accurately, timely, and efficiently, coordinate interpreter schedules and adhere to interpreter contracts.
Provide excellent customer service both for external and internal stakeholders.
Schedule interpreters to ensure appropriate coverage specific interpretation needs.
Monitor on-demand pool of active interpreters, as well as ensure continuity of services for clients.
Maintain accurate records of current, qualified, trained, and cleared interpreters.
Monitor operations and analyze demand, interpreters pool, and new requests on an ongoing basis.
Report regularly to the CEO about these trends to ensure coverage and interpreter pool adjustments.
Qualifications:
At least two years of scheduling, management, or other organizing experience in a customer service-oriented environment preferred.
Knowledge of interpreter needs and roles preferred.
Demonstrated fluency in spoken and written English.
Fluency in a second language is a strong plus.
Knowledge of specialized software related to interpretation a plus:
Interpretation Management and Scheduling platforms, Remote Interpreting Platforms and OPI and VRI systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software knowledge Basic project management skills for acccepting and managing projects.
Ability to communicate effectively, present information in a succinct and clear manner and respond to questions from potential and current clients, as well as other team members Basic mathematical skills to calculate percentages, mileage, and margins to create reports.
Time management skills and attention to detail to establish priorities and ensure clients and contractors are efficiently and effectively served Confidence and personal skills to build peer to peer relationships with staff, customers, and community groups and individuals.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
