We are a newly constructed and privately owned clinic in Berkeley.
About You:
Uphold ethics and promote a culture that is positive and thoughtful.
Minimum 1 year experience in a veterinary hospital.
Passionate about veterinary medicine and animal well-being.
Ability to give feedback to management and not partake in workplace gossip.
Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with patients, clients, and coworkers.
Interested in learning more about Fear Free Techniques or bringing your Fear Free skills to our practice.
Responsibilities Include:
Greet clients and pets and provide them with a warm welcome.
Answer phone calls, text messages, and emails.
Schedule appointments.
Check clients and pets in and out.
Handle payments.
Maintain proper documentation of client conversations as required by law.
Comfortable using multiple digital platforms (i.
e:
Windows, Gmail, and Google Drive).
Our software is Neo, a cloud platform, and we will train you if you have not used this program before.
Provide basic information and advice to clients regarding veterinary services and products.
Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with administrative tasks as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized front office area.
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 1 year experience in a veterinary hospital.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Flexibility to work some weekends.
